President of Tektronix Communications
Richard Kenedi was appointed President of Tektronix Communications in April 2014. He is responsible for the performance and strategic direction of the company. Prior to his current position, Richard was Senior Vice President, Products and Portfolio Management. He was also Vice President and General Management for the Network Monitoring, Test & Optimization and Core Test businesses. Prior to joining the company, Richard was Vice President of Product Management and Engineering at SOMA Networks, a Wireless Broadband equipment supplier. Over his 16 years at Nortel Networks, Richard held numerous roles in Product Management and Engineering. Richard received his Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Toronto, and later earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Dallas.
Vice President and CTO
Prior to joining Tektronix Communications in 2012, Manuel Stopnicki served as InfoVista’s Chief Technology Officer for nearly 15 years. Instrumental in the design and development of the company’s software platform, he now oversees the strategic direction of all product technologies. Mr. Stopnicki’s previous experience includes several positions from 1987 to 1995 with M.F.I., a consulting company specialized in high-tech software developments for large European companies. Mr. Stopnicki is a graduate of Ecole Supérieure d'Informatique in Paris with a Masters in Engineering and Computer Science.
Vice President of Global Services
Ken Pecot joined Tektronix Communications in 2012 from Dallas Venture Partners (DVP). Prior to DVP, Ken was responsible for the global P&L and Product Management for Real Network’s Software as a Service (SaaS) Business unit, which included personalization and mobile video services. Ken was previously Sr Vice President Global Services for Nortel Networks, running the global P&L for Services including network planning, deployment, system integration, technical support, maintenance and managed services. A senior member of the IEEE, Ken holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M and a master’s degree from UT Arlington.
CFO & VP Finance Communications Platform
Lorrie Mathers is responsible for managing operating performance and financial governance across platform companies Arbor Networks, Fluke Networks, Tektronix Communications and VSS Monitoring. His role was expanded in March 2014 to include the CFO responsibility for Tektronix Communications. Previous experience includes financial executive responsibility for all aspects of the financial function across major geographies in the Telecommunications Infrastructure industry, including Nortel Networks and Ericsson. Lorrie is a licensed CPA, has a Masters in Accounting from Keller Graduate School in Chicago, an MBA from McGill University in Montreal and a Bachelor in Engineering from GMI Engineering and Management Institute in Flint, Michigan. Lorrie has worked in Canada, US, France and Singapore.
Vice President of Products & Platform Management
Samir Marwaha is Vice President of Products and Platform Management for Tektronix Communications. Since joining the company in 1998, Samir’s work has focused on applications that help mobile operators troubleshoot and optimize networks for the best possible subscriber experience. He has more than 20 years’ technical and management experience in the telecommunications industry, including various capacities at Ericsson and Alcatel-Lucent. He holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
